LK, that's a cool water effect, I live on a River and we shoot that
way. In the past for s*its and grins we've tossed lit class c shells
into the water, and everyone thinks they look cool. I noticed people
laughing in your vid, and they always laugh here when one goes off in
the water. Hmmmmm. Dark human secrets!!
Want to thank you for posting the Gold Glitter comp a while back, it
is truly beautiful. Hard to cut with the water low; but really
beatiful.
Yeah, I'm sure we're all busy little bees; I've been busy making
stars, this weekend we start shell assembly (thank God for plastic
hemis) for our backyard show on the 5th. My wife even helped hot glue
fuses in hemis, she's a keeper!
This year's show:
3" Gold Glitter shells
3" Emerald Green shells (ofca emerald green)
3" Blue shells (ofca chlorate blue)
3" Red shells (the parlon red, thanks again LK, they work great)
3" White glitter shells (two kinds, I tried a wheatpaste glitter that
burns REAL fast, it may go in mines)
3" Willow shells
3" Bottom shots, etc.
3" Mortars in all the above colors, some combined (gold and green
sounds good...)
1" insert-type shells (BP/ti on the way up, re****t/glitter at top of
trajectory) fired from 10-shot racks
Lots of class c shells and cakes, etc.
I shoot video professionally, I'm going to try to shoot the show in
HiDef video. What I really need is electronic remote ignition
(Skylighter is tempting me with the latest special...)
Lets all get through it safely, and have a great 4th of July!!
