You mentioned Bukowski and that's the second time in one month that
I've seen him referenced.  I haven't read any of his work since the
early 70's but about 3 weeks ago, I saw a young woman reading a copy
of one of his collections and I asked her if it was for a class or
simply for her own interest.  She told me how popular the old
reprobate had become and that he was now the cat's ass on campus.   I
felt very old.

Samuel Clemens has always been my idol.  (Especially since I learned
as a child that the R/C. Church put him on their "**** list"  way back
in the beginning of the 20th. century)  He had plenty of good company!
