Have to add, there wasn't much happened here in Kentucky during the
war.
Harry Turtledove, who wrote the "Guns of the South" to some acclaim,
went on and wrote a series of alternative history.
One big battle happened in Louisville.
Pretty detailed, and fairly accurate on tactics, and peoples
personalities.
A real good read, and a surreal look for Civil war buffs.
Sad about those people, and sobering to us who work with fresh comps.
