In testing the different metal oxides, Partin and others discovered
several surprises. Indeed, I tested letharge last night only this time
with sodium benzoate fuel instead of sodium salicylate and it just
about doubled the peak thrust over a plain jane (no catalyst) whistle
mix.  However, just doubling is really not that good. It did work,
though.

My other surprise was the difference between red iron oxide and brown
iron oxide. Brown iron oxide performed remarkably better. I'll have
the complete curves after I get them dissected this weekend. I have
about 10 tests I have to evaluate after the MoPyro shoot.
