Seems to me a whole lot of sulfur (in what form?) or zinc oxide wouldn't
be
real healthy.  Zinc fumes for instance can cause zinc fume fever, which
sometimes has an allergic reaction in people.

Probably the classic KNO3 / sugar mix would be best for white.
