I would tend to side with Putt.  For economy and other reasons a chop
saw with an abrasive blade is your best bet.
I have used a demo saw and a chop saw, both cut SS quite
effieciently.  A diamond blade made for stone on the other hand would
not be good to use.  Yes it may work for awhile but eventually you
will ruin the blade.  Which is not cheap.
Blades are designed for specific materials.  Any good industrial
supplier can steer you in the right direction.
