Re: confinement flash -video

Confinement is im****tant in any explosion.

Weather German or Indian or American- Micron is what you should judge on
the
explosive.

Great flash-1 teaspoon on a 2 x 4 should break the board(unconfined)

Concussion will be greater when confined.

That's why some of the older Btm shots concussion on smaller shells are
greater than larger Chinese shells- due to confinement.

which powder was used in the video? that sounded like a boom to me,
was that ****mizus mix? 70/30 should get you those results too, with
same type of construction as well as 70/30 whistle burst. Really
depends on the aluminum in smaller shells, you want the german dark.
Confinement should only be an issue with black powder. Your methods
look fine for any flash or whistle mix that were weighed and mixed
very well. I got red struvite clay in my mix once and it was reduced
to the speed of fffg black powder and needed a lot of confinement to
where I just got rid of it, luckily it wasnt a large batch.
