Sounds like a plan.  I've seen the gender benders in the
electrical hookups bin though.

That's what I'm thinking.  tHe last I worked in the live
sound industry with any regularity was 20 years ago.  Hence
why I asked these questions in this group.  fIgured I'd get
a more professional level discussion here than in
alt.audio.pro.live-sound where bar band bottom feeders
abound.  NOt that there aren't some real pros there, but ...
