Amen!  We've also got a rig in the electrical connections
box for standard 240 outlet that breaks out into two 120vac.
I prefer not to use it however.

AS I stated before, we might be working some locations where
they're not used to thinking in terms of professional
standards, such as recording a church ensemble or choir,
something like that.
tHE service contrct states they'll have a knowledgable
electrician on hand for the date.  even though I've the
camlocks and all sorts of other interconnection gear, a
locally licensed electrician protects me and the site from
harm and allays, or should, liability concerns.

I've worked with this stuff to understand that safety of
life and property is paramount.
