My home theatre in Michigan, USA has, among other disconnect points, a
company switch panel capable of supplying 120/208/3=F8 at 800A max. The
panel is internally subdivided into an assortment of breakered 100A,
200A, and 400A 5-wire (w/isolated ground) circuits, all of which are
tied into by way of Camlock recepticles on the sides of the panel box
(and no, I can hear folks rumbling from here: it isn't possible to
pull more than 800A out of that panel by tying into all the circuits
at once; the panel feed itself is fused at 800A in the vault)...

You would need to have a qualified electrician on the house crew make
the connections into any of our company switch panels, whether you're
going into Camlocks or tying bare tails into one of the lugged
services; it's house policy.

FWIW, a lot of the venues in the US and Canada that I have toured
through are going to some sort of Camlock tie-in mode and getting away
from bare tails & lug boxes, but I've never heard of a venue that
allows an incoming electrician to tie in his or her own power.  (well,
not since I worked for a bar band twenty-mumble years ago, anyway)
