I agree, having the receivers in the rack is ok, but the installer 
really has got to re-route the antennas outside the booth, preferably as 
close to the stage as possible.

Most VHF systems I have seen have the antenna attached via a BNC 
connector, so it should be possible to go get some RG-58 ****elded cable 
and some BNC connectors. Then run the antennas outside the booth.

You (OP) might want find a local pro-audio store/rental house and 
rent/buy just the cable and antennas and mounts to attach to mic stands.
