authority.
One could note that all mic cable in rough service break sooner or later
and
due to small size the lav cables are more susceptible to damage from use.
The tiny B6 (what I and others refer to as a "grain-o-wheat' mic) is bound
to have more cable breakage then its larger wired cousins.
Next time you are buying, you might consider some of the offerings from
audio-technica, the AT899 for example.
The ULX with WL93 has worked pretty well for me.
