Castering A Continental Parallel

by sage.cl@[EMAIL PROTECTED] Nov 14, 2007 at 03:25 PM

As the subject line implies, I'm considering building a castered base
for a continental
parallel that we (the theatre education dept I work for) use as part
of some touring
scenic elements. I'm pretty sold on making it an inverted,
skeletonized version of how
the lid(s) are built and then adding casters to that. But I was
curious if anyone else has
ever built such a unit and if so what technique was used, especially
if different from what
I am planning.

Thanks.
