Depends where. A four-performance weekend would be quite unusual, for
example, in any British theatre, since Sunday performances in Britain
are relatively rare. If you count Friday as the weekend, it's not
unknown for shows in the West End to have two shows Friday and two shows
Saturday, at, say, 5pm and 8.30pm, with the 5pm Friday performance
taking the place of a midweek matinee earlier in the week, but it's more
common for shows to play Monday to Saturday with matinees Wednesdays or
Thursdays and Saturdays.
