Well, GOLDEN DAWN was written in English and for Broadway - and with
Hammerstein & Harbach! It was filmed too!

However, my impression (which may well be wrong) is that Kalman sort
of did an Elton John with GD and dashed off some tune(s) for Stothat
to make sense of.
