Funny coincidence, for 4th-of-July fun somebody sent me an mp3 audio
attachment of a song "Fifty nifty United States..." alleged to be from
one of the Schoolhouse Rock cartoon shorts, but which is actually from
that New Garry Moore Show of the 66-67 season! 

It was the last sequence on the show wherein, each week, Garry and
Durward would pay tribute to a particular state. On the old Garry Moore
show it had been That Wonderful Year, with a comparable tribute to a
year that viewers were old enough to remember.

Apparently someone at ABC rescued and recycled the song from CBS after
Garry had been canceled -- again.
