RING RING

by Eagle <eaglenewsgroup@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jun 12, 2008 at 01:49 PM

It occurred to me that a number of musical theatre cast album tracks
begin with a ringing bell:

BELLS ARE RINGING =96 =93Overture=94
HOW TO SUCCEED =96 =93I Believe in You=94
WONDERFUL TOWN =96 =93Conquering New York=94
BYE BYE BIRDIE =96 =93The Telephone Hour=94
IS THERE LIFE AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? =96 "For Them=94

Can anyone think of others? I suppose if you want to include clanging
bells, and "dings" instead of rings, you can add:

THE SOUND OF MUSIC =96 opening sequence with clanging bells (on the
original Broadway cast, not the London)
25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE -- three or four tracks start
with a ding
