Yes, I've seen a revised "Mack and Mabel". In fact, I've *only* seen a 
revised "Mack and Mabel" (the original London production, in 1995). I 
did not see the John Doyle production. The production I saw contained 
some glorious songs, and had ideal performances from Caroline O'Connor 
and the wonderful Kathryn Evans and a good performance from a somewhat 
miscast Howard McGillin, but while individual numbers were very 
enjoyable, the show as a whole didn't work at all on any level.
