The Most Boring Musical Theatre Songs of All Time

Call me a wet blanket, but I was in a bad mood this morning, and I
just decided to join this group on a whim, and start a poll. I think
the title of this thread is pretty much self-explanatory. Here's my
list:

1. Put On A Happy Face - Bye Bye Birdie (or any song about being
happy, for that matter)

2. Songs For A New World - Songs For A New World (Or anything by Jason
Robert Boring)

3. Maybe - Annie

4. Tomorrow - Annie (maybe I'm biased on these last two, just because
I had to listen to this stupid girl at a karaoke bar sing only these
two songs, and nothing else every night for a year)

5. Seasons of Love - RENT (sorry, folks, but this one is just a little
too cute for my taste)

6. Summer Nights - Grease (once again, I have the karaoke bars to
thank for this one. I don't know what it is. Something about hearing
the same two bad singers do it poorly every night, I suppose. It=92s bad
enough hearing two =93good=94 singers hit that annoying falsetto at the
end, but when two BAD singers do it, I swear I just want to chock
somebody)

7. On My Own - Les Miserables (For the usual, and obvious reasons)

8. On This Night of A Thousand Stars - Evita (What is it about this
stupid, gay-ass song that makes every single damn guy want to sing it
at auditions? Is it because it makes their voices sound pretty? Well,
that's a cop-out. The song's got no teeth. It is completely vacuous,
and devoid of any substance, or depth. The song just sucks, okay)

9. Anything from the musical "Quilters"

10. She Loves Me - She Loves Me (Granted I haven't actually seen this
musical, but the guy who I heard do the song in a musical theatre
class, quite frankly, bored me to tears, and besides, hardly anybody
in this world ever really finds true love. With that in mind, who the
hell wants to hear a person sing about how they DID find it? Pooh, I
say! STINK!)

Runner Ups and dishonorable mentions

1. Anything from "Hairspray" - It's just crap, okay!

2. Anything from "Joseph" accept for "Those Cannan Days, Close Every
Door," and "Any Dream Will Do."

3. Anything from "The Music Man" as performed by Mathew Broderick. If
it's Robert Preston or anybody else, I'm cool with it. I just think
that Matt royally SUCKED as Professor Hill.

I'm sure I'll think of many more after I've already posted this, but
for now I'll let the rest of you have the floor. What are some of YOUR
picks?
