Kritzerland will release a CD of the soundtrack of the 1966 television
special, "Evening Primrose," which featured a score by Tony
Award-winning composer Stephen Sondheim.
Pre-orders are currently being accepted by visiting the Kritzerland
website, www.kritzerland.com.

"Evening Primrose" originally aired as part of the ABC Stage 67
television series. The production featured a score by Sondheim and a
book by James Goldman based on a short story by John Collier.
Anthony Perkins, according to press notes, starred as a "poet who has
renounced the world and who has decided to live in a department store
and write poetry - he soon discovers he is not alone, that there is a
secret society that has lived in the department store for years."
Charmian Carr co-starred.
The soundtrack features conductor Norman Paris and musical associate
David ****re.
