It certainly /was/, in the day, a trademark of Horn and Hardart, at 
least in the US. As far as I know, the Horn and Hardart cor****ation 
still exists, so I would be quite surprised if Bamn!, currently the 
operator of the one "Automat" now operating, on the Lower East Side, did 
not have to pay for the right to use it.
