It's a safe bet that if the contest or agent or whoever has said anything
about format, that they will ignore any submissions that are not formatted
according to those instructions. Probably without telling you. Ease of
reading trumps number of pages, and single side printing makes it easy to
keep track of which stack is "I've read these" and which is "I haven't
read
these yet." because most folks, reading a stack of loose pages will lay
the
one's they've finished aside with the printed-side down (and therefore
blank-side up.)
