the type of toy puppet which is essentuially just a head on a stick

by carlton.pemberbrook@[EMAIL PROTECTED] Mar 9, 2007 at 05:20 AM

Can anyone help me here? Im looking for the name of (or where to
purchase) the type of toy puppet which is essentuially just a head on
a stick, and the jaw is activated by the the trigger on the botom of
the stick.
I used to have several for my nephew. For example gorilla head, or
lizard head, or hippo head.
They were all the same mechanism. The jaw of the animal would open and
close when pulling the trigger - a pulley and string mechanism went
through the shaft of the toy.
I bought these 10 years ago and were susally about $15 or $20.
ANyone know where I could purchase toys like this?

THANKS!
