Even so, I would like to see the expression on the face of one
who practices "High Magick" when his paper-back copy of the
Necronomicon and a Golden Dawn or Key of Solomon that's been due back
at the library for 6 months tries to cast spells or "workings" against
the humble woman in the back room of her New Orleans witch-shop who's
arsenal includes poppets (voodoo dolls), knowledge of herbs, stones,
and gems, the ability to scry, reads runes and tarot, knows bindings
and spell-breakers, and gods know what else...and kicks the ass of the
so-called "high magician" as easily as all those others who consider
themselves practitioners of "High Magick".--Corvùn
