Re:The Palace Theatre Westcliff
As you may or may not know the philistines that
are our local
government here in Southend On Sea have taken it
upon themselves to
close the Palace Theatre and sell off the Cliffs
Pavilion.
At the moment we are working hard to try to save
the theatres from
closure so far we have got excellent sup****t from
local press and
Meridian Tv.
Over 50% of the audience come from outside the
borough
who we have no-way of reaching with out the help
of people like
yourself passing this on to anyone you know that
has visited the theatre's.
There is to be a rally at the Palace Theatre which
will be an open
meeting on Feb 19th at 3pm everyone and all ages
are welcome to ask
questions! It will be attended by local
councillors and speakers in
sup****t of the theatre,we are hoping for some
famous face's.
I hope you can help put pressure on the council,
to make them address
the concerns of the people of Southend. and help
publicise our
campaign to save Southend's professional theatre
from overzealous
councillors hacking away at Southend.
