Cool, I'll go down and have some tamales.

Hmm. What in your psyche would pull up that metaphor?
> Blood boiling mad over pro-illegal news coverage?
No.

That'll do it. Hide from the news and complain.

There's always hope, I guess.

> Sarcastic Questions For Sappy News Coverage of Illegal Alien Protests:
>
> -- How much is this protest costing local government?
Less than most Fourth of July Parades.
> How many arrests
> were there? Were there any damages? Will anyone be prosecuted?
Ask again tomorrow. The parade doesn't start until noon. Are you goons
coming down to start trouble?
> -- When will you show the video of Americans being beaten and
> threatened by illegal alien protesters?
When you make one?
> -- If you roll your R's on Villaraigosa, why don't you roll them on
> O'Brian?
It's called language. Ever heard of it?
> -- Please explain exactly how deportation separates families. Won't
> their parents' countries allow the children in? What kind of parent
> leaves their children behind? Why don't they take responsibility for
> their own children?
Who says they aren't?
> -- Would it be OK to fly Iranian flags?
Yep, this is still America.
> -- If you don't differentiate between legal and illegal immigrants you
> contribute to a backlash against all immigrants.
That's not a question.
> -- Would it be OK for Osama to come here and improve his life - and get
> free dialysis?
Last I heard he could afford his own dialysis. If found guilty and
having served his sentence, it would be ok for Osama to "improve his
life" here.
How do you know it would be an improvement?
> -- When is your next story about the legal immigration process?
Aren't they connected?
For example, do you know about the Quota System?
"There actually are two separate quota systems in place. The first
quota system limits the number of people who can apply in each
category, regardless of their country of birth. The second quota limits
the number of people who can immigrate from any one country (this goes
by the place you were born, not your nationality!). This per-country
quota says that no country can send more than 7% of the total worldwide
immigration (this translates to 25,620). Unfortunately, this system
puts large countries at a disadvantage; the quota is the same for India
and China with a billion people each as for Nauru, with approximately
10,000 people.
"If many people from one country want to immigrate to the USA. the
total number of immigrants may reach the per-country quota, and the
number of people admitted in all immigration quotas will be reduced for
this country."
In other words, Mexico maxes out at 25,620 allowable immigrants. And
you wonder why they don't apply?
