We can=92t say we didn=92t see this one coming. While the Disney
Cor****ation has been willing to look the other way when young starlets
like Miley Cyrus and Vanessa Hudgens get snared in racy-picture
scandals, you can be sure they don=92t want someone accused of drug
possession playing to family audiences.
That explains why the Bare****d LadiesDan Zanes, They Might Be Giants,
Ralph=92s World and Raven-Symon=E9. Frontman Steven Page was arrested last
week in New York after admitting to police that he had been snorting
cocaine.
As of yesterday morning, the Ladies were still listed as playing at a
Long Island stop on the tour in late August.
But by this morning, their name and image had been removed from the
tour=92s official site. A message from manager Terry McBride on the
band=92s official site confirmed the cancellation. =93Members of the band
completely sup****t Steven Page,=94 McBride wrote. =93But we don=92t want
to
put Disney in an awkward position before issues involving Steven=92s
arrest are resolved.=94
Earlier this year, BNL released their first kids album, Snack Time,
which features the songs =93Bad Day,=94 =93Curious,=94 =93Allergies,=94
