No he didn't. All he did was sign a letter sugggesting to FDR
that there was a chance the GErmans might build one firts. He had
nothing ot do with the actual builing of the bomb.

Maybe. But Einstein had few of the skills necessary for the
building of the bomb; he was a theoretician unlike, say, Fermi
who was an experimentlist. There wouyld have been little reson to
enlist his help.

Stalin was on the im****tant one. But, as mentioned before,
Einstein was a commited pacifist, which would certainly, at that
time in American history, put him on some suspicion lists. 

Einstein wasn't much of a joiner. Could you name some of those
organizations? Say, five of them?
